ADVICES BEFORE HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
  • If you undergo hair transplantation, you will need a healing period of 7 - 10 days. People with a work life are recommended to undergo this procedure on their 7 -10 days leave periods.
  • If you are using anticoagulants such as aspirin, stop to use it 1 week before the operation.
  • You must stop your depression medications, painkillers, E and B vitamins, herbal products, dietary supplementations and multivitamins 7 days before your operation. (Please stop your depression medication only by consulting your doctor.)
  • If you are using hair supplementation medications containing finasteride and minoxidil active substances, stop them 2 weeks before the hair transplantation.
  • Stop alcohol drinking 3 days before the operation.
  • Inform your doctor if you have permanently used medications.
  • Come to operation after having breakfast.
  • Do not cut your hair too short before coming for the operation.
  • Prefer clothes which are comfortable to dress and undress, and won't rub on your head before coming for the operation. (Shirt, jacket etc.)
  • Buy a hat (suitable for winter) with a hard and vertical front-side in order to not to touch transplantation area, and also adjustable from the back, to use after the operation.
  • If you will undergo vertex transplantation, buy a travel pillow for lying comfortably and to prevent the contact of the transplanted area with the pillow.
